In case any of the cached web pages is updated on the live Internet site, the info that Varnish keeps in its memory is updated too, so the users won’t see out-of-date content.
Varnish in Cloud Hosting
Varnish comes as an optional upgrade with each of our cloud hosting plans. You can add it to your website hosting account via the Hepsia Control Panel, which is available with all shared plans and you will get an amazingly easy-to-use graphical interface, which will grant you full control over the content caching platform. Using 1-click quick-access buttons, you can reboot or turn off any of the instances, i.e. Varnish will no longer work for a given website. You can also see an exhaustive system log file or erase the cache associated with any of the sites. Varnish is a feature, which comes by default with all semi-dedicated plans offered by us and you can use it for workload balancing purposes. It is available in your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The Varnish content caching platform comes with 64 MB of system memory for cached data storing purposes and you can employ it with any Internet site that you host in your account. In case you are in need of more than that, you can increase the system memory allowance. The memory itself is available in increments of 32 megabytes through the Control Panel’s Upgrades section. The same Upgrades section will allow you to add more instances too, if you wish to use the Varnish platform with more Internet sites. The two things can be added separately – you can cache the content of one resource-demanding website or use several different Internet sites with the default memory. You can take full advantage of the Varnish platform if you use a dedicated IP and you can get one with your semi-dedicated server package as well. The Hepsia Control Panel will grant you complete control over the caching platform and, with no more than a click, you will be able to delete the cached content, to see a log or to reboot an instance.
Varnish in VPS Servers
Varnish is included by default with all VPS plans that we are offering as long as the VPS is ordered with the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, so you can enhance the performance of your websites with only a few mouse clicks. The more powerful the plan, the more memory Varnish will have at its disposal, but even with a lower-end plan, the platform will be able to utilize several hundred megabytes, so even if you own several different sites, you’ll notice a significant reduction in the server load and a substantially faster page load speed. The platform will have to work for a little while as the users navigate the pages and as soon as the website content has been cached, you’ll see the effect. One of the pluses of employing Varnish is that a less powerful and less expensive Virtual Private Server package will accomplish the exact same job as a more costly one without the caching platform, so not only will your websites work considerably better, but you will also save a certain amount of money.
Varnish in Dedicated Servers
If you order a dedicated server with the Hepsia Control Panel, you’ll get the Varnish data caching platform at no extra charge and you’ll exert complete control over it via a truly simple-to-navigate GUI – you’ll be able to start, to deactivate or to restart an instance, to check an in-depth system log, to delete the cached files associated with any website and much more.
