Needless to say, using JailHost can't replace the safety measures you must always take by keeping your scripts up-to-date and using long and complex passwords, still it will enable you to limit the damage to one site only.
JailHost in Cloud Hosting
JailHost is available by default with all the cloud hosting plans that we offer and you could turn it on with just a mouse click from your Hepsia Control Panel. In contrast to other Control Panels where add-on domains keep their content in the primary domain folder, every single domain or subdomain in Hepsia has its very own folder, which means that using JailHost shall make a big difference. You can select which sites will use this option and will be locked based on your content as you may have some site where you would like to allow users or admins to be able to access other folders inside your web hosting account. Yet, the option will add a further level of security to your sites in addition to the firewalls that we use and even if any of your websites is hacked, you will be able to restore it really easy using any of the multiple daily backup copies of your entire account that we will generate.
JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our semi-dedicated server solutions come with JailHost included by default. This feature is not activated automatically when you add a domain name since you may wish to use a specific script that accesses several folders in the account, but you will be able to activate it effortlessly from your Hepsia Control Panel and protect the rest of your websites with just a couple of clicks. Hepsia is much better to use when you have multiple websites since it keeps them in separate folders and does not keep the files for several Internet sites in the very same folder as it often happens with various other Control Panels. This allows us to offer JailHost as all folders can be isolated from each other. In case that any of your Internet sites is hacked, we will almost instantly restore it because of the several daily backups that we will keep and meanwhile the attacker will not be able to do further damage since the access to your other Internet sites will be stopped.
